B-sting, the musician
Ever since a kid I had gotten a very wide interest in music. During my teens some people stuck religiously with guitars in the form of blues, metal, grunge or alternative music. Others embraced the new dance music first dubbed house and later it exploded into trance, techno, drum 'n bass and a whole lot more sub genres. I refused to choose and got a keen interest in both. And a whole lot more.

From the age of 16 I got my first official tastes of making music. First singing and later I started to leant to play bass in various cover bands. Meanwhile I had discovered making sample-based music on the Commodore Amiga. Both evolved over the years and by the time I was in university I was both in a decent cover band and making dance/guitar crossover songs in the universities midi-studio.

The first steps into turning all this professional was when I started playing with a band called Lemonshark. We played our own material all over the region and even recorded a full album from our own money which we distributed among friends and a few local shops. It was the first band I felt operated as a single unit. But still only in classic guitar-based set up.

At the end of 2005, I teamed up with a fellow electronic musician. We recorded and mixed a collection of demo songs in Cubase with synths, samples, guitars, bass and my vocals. The band was expanded with a guitarist and a drummer. We re-arranged the material and played it live until 2009 as Spawnkill. In 2009 the cooperation ended and Spawnkill continued as a more traditional band.

Since 2010 I've been working solo under my long established nickname B-sting on more sample-based electronic music.
